Supaslot Channel Accessories
As with standard channels, slot channels are subjected to extreme changes in heat and pressure, putting wear and tear on an otherwise sturdy system. Edelstahl offers two accessories as a solution to potential tile breakage and channel deformation brought about by extraneous factors.

Angle Frame
To lengthen the life-span of tiles along the perimeter of slot channels, additional support must be provided for. Angle frames provide this much-needed support along the length of the slot channels.

Angle frames serve another useful purpose: as expansion joints. Angle frames give an allowance for the normal expansion and contraction of the slot channel caused by sudden changes in temperatures. Cracks and other tile deformities are, prevented.

In-Fill
Heavy loads and vehicles can cause dents and other deformations on slot channel systems making these unsightly and minimizing flow efficiency. For this purpose, Edelstahl recommends the use of in-fills to serve as reinforcement to the system. Available in stainless steel or PVC bars, in-fills give added strength and support to slot channels.
